Travel Facts – Did You Know

Came across this recently and for sure, I was not aware of Venice and its pigeon feeding – the rest are too out of my travel list as of now.

  • In the Italian city of Venice it is against the law to feed pigeons, while in Florence it is an offence to eat or drink in the immediate vicinity of churches and public buildings
  • In Barbados it is an offence for anyone, including children, to wear camouflage clothing
  • Fiji prohibits topless sunbathing
  • It is illegal to take mineral water into Nigeria
  • Chewing gum is prohibited on Singapore’s Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system
  • Taking more than 200 cigarettes into Thailand is illegal
  • In Japan it is illegal to use some nasal sprays which are commonly available elsewhere

Know the countries before you travel and be safe. What’s yours secrets – Share itΒ  πŸ™‚

Only joking, Mani. I’m not a lay around on the beach kind of girl anyway. I need to see and do everything there is to experience! πŸ˜€

England has been on my list since my last visit ended. I loved England and was smitten with the Welsh countryside. I will return. There is much that I missed last time around.
I’m sure there is fun to be had on the beaches since sunbathing isn’t in my repertoire anyway. I can’t sit still that long!

We shall see how long you stay still and hide yourself before going to the nudist beaches πŸ˜€
You can’t really that much England is tad too small to miss anything, really πŸ™‚

Seriously? There is so much to see and do in the UK! When you devour history like I do, everything is exciting!
Supposedly it is legal for females to be topless in public where I live but no one ever goes bare. Too many ogling eyes and tsk-tsks. It’s easier not to.

As long as you do not end up in the Gays beach in Purland.. you would be fine. Lol, not many naked beach here. One or two here or there but mostly hidden. Find your own shore and do whatever you like as long as no one catches you πŸ˜€ .. lol .. tsk-tsks…

History, oh yeaah… la la laa… Lets repeat it – you would love it going with me then. Hours will go like minutes.

Checking out historical sites and gaining knowledge is like a magnet to me…although there are certain aspects of history I would rather not repeat (the Tower of London comes to mind).

Sounds thrilling! It is much more fun to create my own memories than relive someone else’s! πŸ™‚
