It was not that hard knowing what the weather brings. The South seems to be flooded with water and the north beckons to embrace the unseen floods. Decision between a Scotland and Lake District was not that complicated – I am ready to face some extreme conditions but not that extreme too. We will see what the weather will bring but knowing that this is not a car trip but a one on two wheels where the elements of nature keep one soaked in wet for hours and so does to the equipment I want to carry.
In total this shall add me another 700 or so miles to the total tally of reaching 39000miles in about just over a 3years time on my loved soulmate. Nothing keeps up more indulged than a long ride – wet weather – slippery roads and lots of people in their cars who never bother to check their mirrors.
My final plan as it seems to be for the most of the trip > London – Whitby(North York Moors) – Keswick(Lake District) – Hope(Peak District) – North London(Hertfordshire).
Sounds good enough given I am not just riding up north but hiking, meeting Michael , taking pictures and collecting stories(The best part about my travelling). Anything to do with pictures without story telling is just like having sex without even seeing the face of the person you just had sex with. Ha Ha Haaa – that said – I shall be off from the web and this virtual existence(Another of the things I love the most – away from the virtual world).
The feeling of sharing is the feeling of caring. What better way to express this than to express this by providing the heat to someone who may thank you in no better way than providing with their warm words even in the coldest of the cold conditions.
Just riding down the Tanglang La (17,582 ft) in heavy snowfall, there was instant traces of life. As we came across few shepherds who were looking after their cattles and they got the chance to take some heat from the hot engine exhaust pipes which were not hot enough even after being on the roads for past 4hours.

Travel in the heights of Himalayas brings that freshness what other places never could and never would. Being an Indian there was always an advantage to go places where others would preferably not be willing to go. Sometimes it all feels there was a meaning behind these places and journeys in life.
More so, life was not all about being worries or hassles of reaching success but just a simple moment to enjoy wherever and whenever.
Lake district ride
Almost the time of the year when I would plan the ride. Last few weeks of inconsistent weather has been strange. At fist the plan was to stick in Norwich but looking at the changed weather it became certain that this can’t be right. I’m riding further up to mark my territory on the map of England. Just one of the corners still further away from me and yet to be conquered.
700miles, plenty of lakes(as name itself explains it best), hot weather, blue skies, green landscapes, forests, hills and mountains of britain that stand apart from the rest all.
All I can think of right now is smooth stretch of wonderful lush green scenics.
To all those who know me knows that I have already accounted most of the motorable passses on a motorcycle in Indian Himalayas. So to the inspiration hence my friend Walter J Colebatch is taking on Andes mountains.
For those who seek adventure and wish to see more than normal give it a preview here.
Conjure ! Always enthrilled by the power of human body, mind, soul and its desires.
Travel beckons for the weekend ahead to the cliffs of England no more Himalayas for the time being. I can see the snow falling in England so the little cliffs will keep my mind and imagination busy.
