Solo ride until I die!!
Riding Freebird
Ride to the NorthCape
TimeCapsule – 2015 – To the very far ends and the corners of this planet.. I thought it might be one of the lovely lone experiences but it was tarnished by the hundreds of tourists that land on this spot loaded in buses like the cattle going to the free slaughter pilgrimage (Apologies for the pun too, if it sounds too harsh but that was my personal thoughts).
On one hand, It was quite an amazing ride when I come to think of it but not an experience I would like to share about the actual NordKapp visitor center. Hundreds of tourists filled inside the shop and cafetaria like this is all they came here for. I would have preffered to stick to the very wild north but the weather was pretty cold for summer equinox and forced me to battle through the rainy downpours.
Thanks to all those who helped and also to those, who didn’t. It all makes a worthy experience in the end.
A slow and nice one to enjoy the curves of Norwegian North(without touching the brakes)
Will I ride there again, quite definitely yes but not to the very NorthCape but the likes of bordering northern islands. I loved the isolation of 98 instead. No videos but you would enjoy the Wilderness and the freezing rain\wind and awesomeness of no one for miles.
Adventure
2015 : The first post and something not like a resolution but rather like a need to change. I have been stuck in the customs of being the usual which is not me and I should get back to what I am used to be in my own skin. I know I am not one of the many who revel their lives in comfort of 9-5, luxuries of high profiles, endless followers and enjoying their fames of whatever they can mould their followers into.
The time to be who I am and where I belong is here and is right now running through my head, my blood and my body – CHANGE. I need this time for myself to get back to what I have loved doing over the years – Travel – Click – Be Happy – Be the Hippy Happy Nomad adventurer. The theme of life needs to come back to life. I have been stuck in the comforts of western life for too long. I need that to change to accept and respect what life has to offer. The comforts have made me become weak and nimble. I need to reconvene myself with the nature to be in sync with myself.
The project XC has taken over. I know I have this urge to go and travel so let this be NOW. This moment of now has been initiated. Last two weeks I have been digging around looking at where can I find this XC – the one that Walter Colebatch has been inspiring me about. I need this to happen and I want it to there. So for those who don’t have an idea what I am talking about – It is to do with searching a right motorcycle, in this case a BMW G650 Cross Country also known as XC. Once I have the right one, preparing it over period of time and then planning to go where my heart belongs – the real world away from the civilisation of masses and arrogant people which the cities turn them into.
I have been riding up and down the Indian Himalayas over the period of years that I spent in India in my earlier life. Since year 2000 till 2008 I have racked up several thousands of kilometers riding solo, with a friend, doing a two-up as well as doing endless longest rides of more than 24hours. Age does catch up and body does start to make you feel that you don’t have the same youth but the power of mind can take you anywhere again. So this is the moment to bring this change in life and do what I love. Prepare a motorcycle that can handle the Adventures, the rough terrains, those water crossings, the language barrier and the cultural clash over the years. I need to see these people with a difference – where life, culture and aspects of life make you feel the importance of your life. Riding in UK\EU over the last 6.5yrs is a cream that anyone who wants to do it can do it. The last 75,000miles in Europe has been an ease which didn’t include seeing the happiness, the adventure and the real friendly world – I don’t deny of some exceptions but generally – the world is not same when you live in the western perimeters of modern life. Everyone is connected but more disconnected than ever. The advent of technology has not connected but rather disconnected us from each other in a way bigger than anything else ever did in the past history of our existence.
Note to self :

After a while, I return to the ramblings of the royal pleasure and the ones closest to my heart. Travels.
I travel not for a reason or a season but it is just a part of my existence that belongs to me and my soul. Of course, it is not that I am so stiff like being in a holiday with a five star hotel or a luxury beach resorts but rather a kind of a different more adventurous kinds. The long solo travels where the road becomes your partner and you enjoy everything that comes along.
My lust keeps me moving – the lust to be at places where others don’t so often go or think going. Most masses plan on destinations – the world does it but I choose my own places where I know world won’t be. So here living on an Island what better way to find some remote islands to explore. Timing was right and so are the days weather may not be right but once I am on the move everything becomes part of me.
Here is the brief road play on the map before I hit the road.
Wait till you get to see or hear more. My Fb album shall fill this up space very soon or just be on my fb page to keep checking where I am 🙂

Going North
This would be my first time when I would be riding to meet a friend who I have known from past more than six or even may be seven years and have met few times. Michael is a good friend whom I met on my Flickr about almost seven years ago. The story behind all this is pretty simple, I have been a travel head and solo motorcycle rider. That shall explain you what kind of common interests we may have. So the idea behind us coming together would just be to sit, talk, share and do some flying flipping jumps up and down the Peak District if the weather permits us to enjoy that. Else we shall still have a plenty to yap about and possibly swap our motorcycles. I must admit, I love riding all the kind of motorcycles and the one he has is a Triumph Tiger which makes me feel that spirit of adrenalin rush on the rough stretches of the road.
Ah, boys would be boys. So I would be riding a non stop about 3hrs to head from London to Sheffield and then the rest as it happens shall be shared brought to you over a period of time. I got to say this is going to be pretty crazy as he is good with this flying and I am good with my sharp shooting skills.
UK looks so small given I have been up and down this country so many times by now. Although Just to give you a rough idea of how far … here you go
Now lets go a bit of South 🙂
more south
A little bit to the North again, North west this time .. Lake District & Yorkshire Dales.
Ah.. the list is pretty much endless because I can go posting here but the point is … “Travel is essence to see, smell, feel and capture” – MB.
But did I not say, world is small.. It indeed is.. as far as you want and farther you can go … Ride
